A handsome early 20th-century French wine bottle carrier made to transport ten bottles. Constructed from hand-worked iron straps, it features twisted bands, riveted joints, and a raised handle.  The open framework allowed bottles to be carried securely from a cellar, wine merchant, or market.

Condition: Aged surface with age related wear and a small amount of rust is visible.
