A beautiful smaller, late 19th century confit pot with wonderfully rich green glaze, rounded form, and molded handles. The contrast between the glossy green upper body and the worn terracotta base is especially lovely. A charming piece of old French country pottery with warm coloring and presence.

Condition: Appropriate wear for its age and many years of use. Some glaze losses, chips and an opening in the bottom, most likely from years of cellar use.
